Frilly’s South is your best stop for real Cajun food without having to cross the border into Louisiana. We have a laid back, fun dining experience along with a full bar to satisfy all your dining and beverage needs. Our cooks are experienced in the true art of Cajun cooking along with fun, friendly servers to help make each meal a genuine pleasure. The management is readily available at all times to assist you with any special requests. We offer catering for large events and even for more small intimate parties. Live music is a regular event. Please check our calendar for artists and dates. Either way, dining in or out, you will leave a little more Cajun than when you arrived!

The Food

Frilly’s South offers the finest in fish, shrimp, and other shellfish from the warm waters of  The Gulf of Mexico. Those same items are also prepared with time proven, authentic  Louisiana recipes, either sautéed, fried, or over the grill. You will find all your New Orleans favorites here, most with ingredients, like boudin, brought straight in from Louisiana that just can’t be duplicated anywhere else. Our appetizers will tease your palate. Our delicious entrees will fill you up, and our desserts will amaze you. As well, we offer salads and several other dishes for lighter or vegetarian fare. Atmosphere

Come to Frilly’s South for a fun night out. Frilly’s South has just gone through a major renovation to bring the neighbor-friendly and party atmosphere of Louisiana hospitality to Denton. We are a casual dining establishment that may require you to ‘dress down’ if you come in too formal. Our rustic décor will transport you to that ‘friends and family throw down’ that only could happen on a hot summer night in the back yard along the shores of the Gulf Coast. We have outdoor dining available – weather permitting. It is our goal to bring a little of that Mardi Gras smile and attitude to every customer that comes through our door.
